The innovation of the team at Ioppolo & Assocoates in the field of business intelligence and performance management is being recognised at the world's largest information management event, Oracle Open World 2009 in San Francisco.
Perth-based Ioppolo & Associates has been invited to present at this year's event to showcase its innovative Business Intelligence & Performance Management (BIPM) application, Essatto which opens up the world of performance management for medium-sized businesses.
Guy Ioppolo and Anthony Lepore of Ioppolo & Associates are exceptionally excited about this very unique opportunity to present the Essatto BIPM application to world leaders in the fields of information technology, business intelligence and corporate performance management.
"We've worked hard to achieve our goal of making BIPM accessible beyond the top-end of town to the wider business community. Essatto gives us a fantastic tool to do this and the recognition of the Open World organising committee is great testament to our vision," said Guy.
-- Paying it Forward
The Essatto application was developed as a direct result of the experience the group has gained consulting with the Oracle and Hyperion business intelligence and corporate performance technologies to tier-one businesses throughout Australia and South East Asia over the last 13 years.
"It has been amazing to experience the performance gains that are achievable when the right technologies and business processes are in place. We've been involved in driving this at the top-end of town, but when we looked around at the wider business environment, implementing performance management systems seemed to be a goal for many medium-sized businesses, however many put it in the too-hard basket," said Guy.
"This presented as an opportunity for us to take the knowledge we had acquired consulting in the tier-one space and convert it to be accessible for medium enterprise. We knew that medium-sized businesses had similar performance management ambitions to those of large enterprise, but didn't have the significant budgets and manpower resources to adopt Tier One solutions."
-- All the fruit, without the price tag thanks
Ioppolo & Associates invested considerable resources to develop the Essatto BIPM application to deliver a world class application. A number of innovative approaches were utilised to drive down deployment and running costs so that total cost of ownership was minimised for businesses whilst delivering fast deployment without functionality compromises.
The results of this approach have been very promising. During beta phase Essatto already achieved considerable acclaim in supporting the complex BIPM needs of South-East Asia's largest consumer finance groups, in addition to one of Australia's largest foodservice and support groups.
"We're excited about the potential for Essatto. Certainly this has been recognised by Oracle, and we can't wait to share Essatto with medium-sized business," said Guy.
